Bank Holidays in October 2021: Banks will remain closed for 17 days from Navratri tomorrow, see full list of holidays

Banks have been given 13 days holiday in October 2021 by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Here is the list of holidays to be given to banks in October 2021 so that you can avoid trouble.

The festive season is starting with Navratri from tomorrow i.e. 7 October 2021 across the country. During this, there will be no normal work in banks for many days. According to the website of Reserve Bank of India (RBI), from tomorrow, there will be a total of 17 days bank holidays across the country (Bank Holidays in October 2021). Out of these 17 days holidays, 13 days have been given by RBI. Here is a list of the total holidays available to banks in October 2021 so that you can schedule your work accordingly and you will not face any problem. Banks in Haryana will remain closed on October 7 on Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti. In Manipur too, banks will remain closed on this day due to local religious festivals. Due to being the second Saturday, there will be no work in banks across the country on October 9. At the same time, banks across the country will remain closed on October 10 due to Sunday’s holiday. Banks will have a holiday on this day in October 2021

Banks will be closed in Agartala and Kolkata on October 12 due to Durga Puja Mahasaptami. Banks will remain closed in Agartala, Kolkata as well as Bhubaneswar, Gangtok, Guwahati, Patna and Ranchi on October 13 due to Durga Puja Mahaashtami.- Durga Puja There will be a bank holiday in Agartala, Bhubaneshwar, Kolkata, Gangtok, Guwahati, Kanpur, Lucknow, Shillong, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Patna and Ranchi on October 14 due to Mahanavami. – Banks across the country will be closed on October 15 on Dussehra. Banks will remain closed on October 19 on Eid-e-Milad

Banks will remain closed on October 19 due to Eid-e-Milad. Banks in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Chennai, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Srinagar and Thiruvananthapuram will remain closed on this day. – On 20 October on Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti Banks in Agartala, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Kolkata and Shimla will remain closed. – Due to the first Jumma after Eid-e-Milad, there will be a bank holiday in Jammu and Srinagar on 22nd October. – Then fourth Saturday on 23rd October and 24th October Banks across the country will remain closed since it is a Sunday. – Banks will remain closed in Jammu-Srinagar on October 26 as well. – Banks across the country will remain closed on October 31 due to Sunday’s holiday.
