Kia Motors made its first step in the Indian market in the year 2019 with its famous SUV Seltos. Now news is coming that the company is going to launch its new 7-seater MPV Kia KY (codename) in the market here. It is being told that it can be launched in the market by next year. It will be based on the same platform as the company’s current model Seltos, but extra seats will be given in it. It can be given a 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5 liter turbo diesel engine.
Hyundai Stargazer
It is reported that Hyundai is also preparing to bring its new MPV in the Indian market, which will be based on the same architecture of the Kia KY. Although no confirmation has been given by the company about its name, but the name Stargazer is being given in media reports. This MPV has also been spotted during testing in the international market, although no information has been received regarding its launch time.
Mahindra Scorpio Next Gen
Mahindra & Mahindra has been working on the next generation model of its famous SUV Scorpio for a long time. This SUV has been spotted several times during testing, a few days ago it was being tested on the roads of Leh. It will be bigger in size than the current model. Apart from this, connectivity features etc. can also be included in it, as seen in the XUV700. It can be used with 2.0 liters of petrol and 2.2 liters of diesel engines.
Jeep Meridian
American automaker Jeep is also preparing to launch its 7 seater SUV in the Indian market. Recently, the company introduced its SUV in the global market as Commander, but it will be introduced in the Indian market as Meridian. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre multijet diesel engine that generates 200 PS of power. It will also get mild hybrid assistance.
